Back in April, Charlie’s Angels actress Drew confirmed rumours that she and Will were parting ways.
In their joint statement released on People, the couple made it clear they were remaining close for the sake of their children Olive, three, and Frankie, one.
The pair, who tied the knot in 2012, said: "Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family. Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on.
The pair announced their split back in April
"Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority."
The announcement of the couple's separation happened shortly after the 41-year-old star revealed having her daughters' names tattooed on her wrist. The star seemed delighted with her new body ink as she posed with the tattoo artist and captioned the photo: "Getting a great little lifetime note on my arm."
The star previously revealed that her children are the most important thing to her, telling HELLO!: "I felt that my life started the day my kids were born and everything I had before was something to be used as wisdom and experience for them.

"It's like life really wasn't as important before they were born but you don't want to have not have existed because it gives you tips along the way."
She also revealed how she thinks Will is an excellent father. She told HELLO!: "Will is such a good father. When I see him with our children, it just brings out the best in him. The love of our children is, like, everything in the world to us."
