Despite being heavily pregnant with twins, Beyoncé has showed no signs of slowing down. The 35-year-old was on hand to support her mother at the Inaugural Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday. Dressed in a tight red gown by Stello, the expectant star oozed heaps of glamour as she paraded her blossoming baby bump at the exclusive event. In new pictures posted on her Instagram page, Beyoncé revealed how proud she was of her mother Tina Lawson.
She wrote: "I am super proud of my beautiful mother for creating such an awesome event. Close to $1 million was raised for The WACO Theater Center to benefit young people through their mentorship programs and the arts. Mom, you inspire us all to be generous, selfless, positive, to have empathy, to love and to praise creativity in the world. It brought tears to my eyes to be a witness to what you and Richard have created together. WACO is a safe place truly Where Art Can Occur. I love you." Elsewhere, Tina also gushed about her daughter's pregnancy. "I'm so excited," she told reporters at the event. "I can’t wait… She’s a really good mum, really patient and kind."
Beyoncé and her husband Jay Z, who have been together since 2001, are the proud parents to daughter Blue Ivy and are expecting twins this summer. The singer made her baby announcement on Instagram at the start of the year. "We would like to share our love and happiness," she captioned a photo of herself holding her baby bump in front of a wall of flowers. "We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. - The Carters." In February, the Crazy in Love singer had to pull out of appearing at American music festival Coachella after doctors advised her to to keep a "less rigorous" schedule while pregnant with twins.
