Nicole Scherzinger has insisted she is fine following her split from Lewis Hamilton. The singer, whose on-off seven-year relationship came to an end in February, said she believed everything happens for a reason during an interview on American talk show The Wendy Williams Show.
During the interview Wendy commiserated with Nicole about the break-up, telling her: "I was rooting for you, girl. I'm sorry to hear about that."
However Nicole said she is in a good place following the break-up, explaining: "You know, everything happens for a reason. I'm a girl of faith and a strong believer, and seven years was a long time."

The talk show host went on to discuss motherhood with the star, appearing to suggest Nicole had wasted time on the relationship by not having children.
"Honey, that's all right, though. It's all in the spirit," Nicole explained. "Whatever you experience in life or relationships, you're obviously meant to grow from it and learn more about yourself. I think as women, we… I'm still learning so much."
She continued: "Sometimes we get into situations, but I think if you really trust, you work on yourself and you have faith, just know that things are working for you, not against you and not at you."

Nicole and Lewis split in February for the fourth and final time, leaving the former Pussycat Doll "devastated". The 37-year-old has remained single following the split but appeared to enjoy a holiday romance with footballer Pajtim Kasami while celebrating her birthday in Mykonos, Greece in June.
"I am rubbish at dating," Nicole confided to host Wendy Williams.
Meanwhile Lewis has since been linked to a bevy of beauties including Kendall Jenner and Rihanna, however the Formula One champion spoke out to say they were "just good friends" at the beginning of September.
