Lorraine Kelly was the epitome of nautical chic on Thursday morning as she wowed viewers in a white and blue striped skirt which set her back just £19 from ASOS! The bargain skirt is made from a scuba material, and has a high-rise waist, a close fitting cut and a fabulous ruffle hem which gave Lorraine's outfit a statement edge. She teamed the striped delight with a white T-shirt from Zara and a pair of silver high heels from Topshop. We think you'll agree, Lorraine looked polished and ready for her morning of presenting. The 58-year-old wore her brunette hair in her favourite wavy style and subtle, natural makeup highlighted her pretty features.

Stripes are a favourite of the Scottish star – only last week she wore a white and black knitted sweater by Zara, which cost a purse-friendly £17.99. The mother-of-two teamed the bold knit with a white pencil skirt which had a high waist cut, statement buttons and a front split by Marks & Spencer.

Statement stripes are a huge trend this season – and the more eye-catching the better. They are very easy to style and work into your wardrobe basics – a simple striped top can be pared with jeans, or a striped dress can be teamed with your trusty leather jacket and a pair of tassel earrings.

Lorraine and her fellow ITV pal, Holly Willoughby, appear to have similar taste in clothes; on Tuesday morning Holly donned a pink and blue printed dress by H! by Henry Holland at Debenhams, the same one Lorraine wore a month earlier on her TV show.

The £45 frock has an asymmetrical side split hem and 3/4 length sleeves and proved a huge hit with viewers who loved the colourful number. Both ladies styled it slightly differently; Holy decided to wear nude high heel strappy sandals and Lorraine wore bright orange high heels – keeping in with the vibrant colour pop theme.
