One year after announcing her engagement, Lady Eliza Spencer has shared a cryptic update about her wedding plans with Channing Millerd.
Princess Diana's niece posed in a personalised swimsuit on the Amalfi Coast in Italy, writing: "Wedding venue hunting begins… @palazzoavino you have completely stolen our hearts."
Set 350 meters above sea level, the five-star hotel in Ravello offers breathtaking views of the mountains and the sea. It features an outdoor swimming pool, a Michelin-starred restaurant, a spa, a limousine and helicopter service on request and a private seaside villa.
Posing on the balcony, Eliza soaked up the sunshine in her bridal white swimsuit, featuring floral details on the straps, a high-leg silhouette, a low back and gold stitching that read: "Future Mrs M."
The ivory hue of the 'Lila' swimsuit from ALT, which retails for around £150, offset her golden tan and bright blonde hair, which she styled in mermaid waves. She layered a sheer ruffled robe over the top, which would be perfect for her wedding morning.
Eliza's twin sister Lady Amelia praised her latest Instagram post, commenting: "Wow wow wow wow," while her brother-in-law Greg Mallett sweetly added: "So beautiful Lala."
Inside Lady Eliza Spencer's romance with Channing
Greg was responsible for introducing Eliza and her now-fiancé Channing. He hosted a dinner party in South Africa in 2016, and they went on to date for nine years before he proposed in Santorini, Greece in 2025.
Against the backdrop of the Aegean Sea, Channing got down on one knee amidst candles and floral arrangements to present her with a 2.5-carat pear-cut diamond ring. Recalling the emotional moment exclusively to HELLO!, she shared that his proposal was an "out-of-body experience."
She added: "I laughed and I cried. I don't know how he pulled it all off, but it was so special."
The couple went on to host an intimate sunset engagement party on a rooftop in Cape Town, where Eliza debuted her bridal style in a white Galia Lahav mini dress adorned with floral appliqués.
With their romance spanning South Africa and Greece, fans may have expected them to return to one of the sentimental locations for the wedding ceremony. However, Eliza hinted that she had plans to marry in Italy.
She told HELLO!: "We love the idea of a destination wedding. We feel drawn to Italy, especially somewhere by the ocean – that feels so romantic to us."
