When are the 2022 Grammy Awards?
Originally scheduled for January 31, the Grammy Awards will now take place on Sunday, April 3, 2022.
Where are the 2022 Grammy Awards taking place?
In a break from tradition, the Grammys ceremony will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas instead of its usual home, Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena (formerly known as the STAPLES Center).

What time are the 2022 Grammy Awards? How to watch
The Grammys will begin at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT and typically run for three-and-a-half hours. The ceremony will be viewable live on the CBS Television Network.
How to watch the 2022 Grammys online
If you don't have cable, you'll need to access the Grammys live stream by signing up for a subscription service. Streaming options include Paramount+, fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, and Sling TV.

Who is performing at the Grammys 2022?
The first wave of performers for the 2022 Grammy Awards were announced in March. They include Billie Eilish, BTS, Olivia Rodrigo, Brandi Carlile, Brothers Osborne, and Lil Nas X (with guest Jack Harlow).
One week later, the Recording Academy announced even more names to the line-up, including H.E.R., Chris Stapleton, and Jon Batiste. Foo Fighters were also confirmed to perform but sadly, just one day later, drummer Taylor Hawkins was found dead. The band has since canceled all upcoming tour dates in order to "grieve and heal" making it highly unlikely they will attend the Grammys.
There will also be a special performance by Broadway stars Cynthia Erivo, Ben Platt, and Leslie Odom, Jr. – joined by West Side Story star Rachel Zegler – for an In Memoriam tribute to late composer Stephen Sondheim.

What's new for Grammys 2022?
There have been quite a few changes to the 2022 Grammy Awards. This year sees the introduction of two new categories – Best Global Music Performance and Best Música Urbana Album to merge the previous Latin Pop and Latin Urban categories.
This change brings the grand total of categories up to 86, but every year, the vast majority of awards are handed out during the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony, which is streamed on the Recording Academy's YouTube page just a few hours before the main show.
Other changes include the renaming of the Dance music category to Best Dance/Electronic Recording, and ten records are now nominated for the main categories (Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best New Artist) instead of the usual eight.
