With the autumn equinox taking place on Tuesday, Mrs Hinch ensured she was ready to embrace the new season by creating an autumnal garland to display in her living room on Monday evening – and no doubt she'll have inspired many of her 3.7 million Instagram fans to follow suit.

The influencer, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, shared a step-by-step tutorial on her Instagram Stories, and fortunately, it couldn't be easier to recreate.
Sophie bought an autumnal garland featuring red and orange leaves from eBay, along with some artificial mini pumpkins and squash.

She had also collected some acorns and pine cones from her recent staycation in Dorset, which were simply scattered along the length of the garland using a glue gun.

After wrapping a string of fairy lights around the length of the garland, the finished product has taken pride of place on top of Sophie's fireplace, creating a cosy and autumnal atmosphere in her living room.
And she admitted that she loves it so much she's already planning to make more. "I actually love it! And now want to make an autumn garland for my mum! And every room in the house!" she captioned a close-up glimpse at her handiwork.

Sophie isn't the only famous face who decorates her home seasonally; her close friend Stacey Solomon recently revealed she is planning to reinstall the autumnal display she had around her front door last year, while Zoe Sugg, Giovanna Fletcher and Laura Whitmore all showcased their own beautiful autumnal home entrances in 2019, ranging from simple wreaths to stunning floral archways.
