Prince Harry, 38, surprised everyone when he turned up to London's High Court on Monday, for a four-day hearing in a privacy case against the publisher of the Daily Mail. But now that the Duke of Sussex has given up his Frogmore Cottage lease, where is the royal staying?

In March, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were notified of the palace's request for them to vacate Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, the property that they used as their UK base.

According to reports, the lease technically runs out on 31 March so it is possible that Harry could be stopping there on the final days of the agreement. The hearing only lasts four days so that means he could be back stateside by the end of the week.

However, if King Charles has not allowed Harry to stay at the Windsor property, where else could he be?

The Prince has a very close relationship with cousin Princess Eugenie, and she has visited the US on a few occasions to see Harry and family. The Princess would be welcoming, however, her living situation may not allow it. She now resides at Ivy Cottage with her husband Jack Brooksbank and son August, and the pregnant Princess' home is too small for guests.

A hotel seems unlikely due to Harry's concerns about privacy issues, but he could be staying in a private apartment in the city, so he can easily travel to the court each day to be present at the hearing, alongside high profile figures such as Elton John.

Will Prince Harry see his family during his UK trip?

It seems unlikely that the Duke will reunite with any family members during his short trip. HELLO! understands that the Prince and Princess of Wales are currently away for the Easter holidays with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

HELLO! also understands that Harry was told that King Charles is busy between now and his departure to Germany with his wife Queen Consort Camilla on Wednesday.
