The Queen held her final birthday party this week, rounding off a series of celebrations to mark her 90th. Her Majesty hosted a handful of friends and family at London's Drapers' Hall on Tuesday evening – including daughter Princess Anne and granddaughter Princess Eugenie.

Looking in good spirits as she arrived at the venue, the Queen was dressed for the weather in a classy knee-length dress and smart black heels. She beamed at the waiting photographers before heading inside with Anne, Sir Tim Laurence and the Duke of Edinburgh.

It is thought the party was a chance for Her Majesty to have a final catch up with her loved-ones before heading to Balmoral Castle in Scotland, where she'll spend the remainder of the summer.

Lord Freddie and Lady Gabriella Windsor, Lady Elizabeth Anson and Sir Nicholas Soames MP were also in attendance for the celebrations.

Doting granddaughter Eugenie looked stylish in a floral print white dress, which she accessorised with a pink clutch bag and matching heels.

The Queen has certainly made the most of her special birthday. There were official celebrations for her actual birthday in April and her official birthday in June, and even she joked about the number of parties thrown in her honour.

Speaking at the Patron's Lunch, she said: "How I will feel if people are still singing Happy Birthday to me in December remains to be seen."

Her Majesty and Prince Philip count Balmoral Castle as one of their favourite places, and Eugenie once revealed why they love it so much.

She said: "Walks, picnics, dogs – a lot of dogs, there's always dogs – and people coming in and out all the time. It's a lovely base for Granny and Grandpa, for us to come and see them up there; where you just have room to breathe and run."
