Princess Kate's luxury accessories

The HELLO! shopping team has been busy searching for an affordable Princess Kate-worthy accessory to elevate our everyday staples, and we've found one.

Her timeless gold Trinity Cartier hoop earrings are an absolute classic, and Missoma has a strikingly similar pair for £98 (or $138 if you're in the US).

The mixed metal hoops make a chic statement and are a masterclass in understated luxury. In fact they're so stylish, Kate even owns them, having worn them to an event in January.

The Duke of Gloucester awarded new patronage

The Duke of Gloucester has "graciously" accepted a patronage from The Cinnamon Trust Charity to mark the Trust's 40th anniversary of their service to older people, the terminally ill and their pets.

The Duke paid a visit to the organisation last month and engaged in conversation with staff, fellow trustees and volunteers (and their lovely pets!) to discuss the vital work undertaken by the charity.

Patrick Williams, CEO of The Cinnamon Trust, said they were honoured to welcome the Duke as their first Royal Patron. "His acceptance marks a significant milestone for The Cinnamon Trust, recognising the compassion and dedication that has shaped our work over the past 40 years."

Royal family marks VJ Day

Members of the British royal family will attend various engagements for the 80th anniversary of VJ Day next Friday, which remembers the end of the Second World War around the world.

The King will deliver an audio message in the morning, and will attend the Service of Remembrance with Queen Camilla, which will be followed by a reception where the pair will have the opportunity to meet veterans from the war.

Earlier in the week, Duchess Sophie will meet Jim Wren, a veteran who was captured in the war, and will later attend a service at Edinburgh Castle with Prince Edward.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester will attend a service in Norwich.

The commemorative events will conclude with a reception at Windsor Castle in autumn.

Wedding look back

Hello, loyal HELLO! readers. I am back to take us through the rest of today, and I wanted to flag this fun lookback at Princess Kate and Prince William's 2011 wedding.

I love that 14 years (!) on we're still reminiscing about this stunning event, and discovering new details.

The couple's floral creative designer Shane Connolly spoke about the design and inspiration to the BBC at the time, revealing that "the aim is that the abbey looks unpretentious and simple and natural, and that it reflects the fact that Catherine is a country girl at heart".
