Good afternoon

Prince William VS potholes
We know Prince William is a big Aston Villa fan, but he's also keen to support small clubs. This afternoon, he paid a visit to Mousehole AFC in Cornwall, where he opened a new access road to the club's ground after it was plagued by potholes. William looked in good spirits as he chatted to players from the adult and youth teams. Cornwall Live reported that William was offered a drink in the club house and he said: "I'm not going to have a cider at this time of the day. I'm on best behaviour. I'd better not."
Royal police escort cleared
Metropolitan Police officer Christopher Harrison has been cleared of causing death by careless driving after he hit pensioner Helen Holland in West London in May 2023 while he was escorting royalty. He was part of a convoy escorting the Duchess of Edinburgh in the UK capital.Ā
Helen died two weeks after being struck down at a pedestrian crossing. The Old Bailey trial took jurors two hours and 25 minutes to come to the verdict not guilty.Ā
Royal throwback

The Prince of road construction
Hello HELLO!Ā readers - please let me direct your attention to perhaps the best story of the day, or even the year! Prince William has returned to Mousehole, Cornwall (for all our non-West Country readers, it is pronounced "Mow-zel") to open a new access road that will help players, supporters, and away fans get to the Mousehole AFC football club.
William, who is known as the Duke of Cornwall in the county, previously wrote to the club, saying: "I have seen time and time again that community hubs are essential in providing the spaces for people to come together, to build stronger communities and to allow people to thrive. It is a privilege to be able to help the local community access Mousehole AFC. I'd like to personally add my thanks for all the hard work that's gone into making it happen."

"Sometimes⦠just sometimes⦠when you let light in through the broken pieces of your heart, love grows. š±Baby boy coming this Spring. šThe path here wasnāt easy, and yet love kept showing up in the smallest signs, the quietest moments, the light that refused to fade. This little soul is already so loved, a reminder that joy and grief can exist together⦠and that hope has a way of finding us again," Kelly captioned the post that showed her cradling her baby bump.
Meghan and Kelly have been friends for over a decade, and first met when Meghan's ex-husband, Trevor Engelson, introduced the pair.Ā Tragically, Kelly's son George passed away in July 2022 after being found unresponsive in their home; he is survived by his twin sister, Lily. Ā
