The trial of Prince Harry's legal action against the publisher of the Daily Mail has begun at the High Court.

Opening the trial in the legal action against Associated Newspapers Limited, which publishes the Daily Mail and the Mail on Sunday, David Sherborne, the lawyer for the Duke of Sussex and other high-profile figures, said there was "clear, systematic and sustained use of unlawful information gathering at both the Daily Mail and the Mail on Sunday".

He continued that these acts "involved journalists from both the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday and every significant editorial desk".

Princess Nina has attended Princess Irene's funeral in Greece today.

The royal is related to the Greek royal family as the wife of Prince Philippos of Greece and Denmark, the son of the last King of Greece who was Princess Irene's brother.

Princess Alexia of Greece and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece have arrived at the funeral of Princess Irene of Greece and Denmark.

Queen Anne-Marie is the wife of the late King Constantine of Greece, who was Princess Irene's brother. Princess Alexia is the 60-year-old daughter of Queen Anne-Marie.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia have arrived at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens for Princess Irene's funeral today.

However, the royal couple will return to Spain earlier than planned in the wake of yesterday evening's high-speed train crash.  

Spain's Civil Guard has said that at least 39 people have died in a train collision in southern Spain, and dozens more have been injured in the country's worst rail crash in over 10 years.

Queen Letizia and King Felipe have arrived at the funeral of Princess Irene. 

The royal couple were joined by their daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia as they arrived at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens.

The late princess was King Felipe's aunt as the sister of his mother, Queen Sofia.

Prince Harry has touched down in the UK, arriving at court this morning for his case against Associated Newspapers Ltd.

Dressed in a navy suit, the Duke of Sussex waved at members of the public who had gathered outside court to see his arrival. 

David Sherborne has arrived at The Royal Courts of Justice for a court case against Associated Newspapers Ltd.

He will represent a group of seven claimants, including Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, Sir Elton John and Elizabeth Hurley, who are suing the publishers of the Daily Mail for alleged unlawful information gathering from 1993 to 2011. 

Sadie Frost, the actress and one of the claimants, has also arrived at the court.

Princess Irene's coffin has been carried into the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens.

Princess Irene of Greece and Denmark, daughter of King Paul of Greece and sister of Queen Sofia of Spain, died on 15 January at the age of 83. 

Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece, Prince Nikolaos of Greece, and Prince Philippos of Greece looked on during the funeral of Princess Irene of Greece and Denmark at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens today. 

The brothers looked sombre in black.

Crown Prince Alexander of Serbia and Princess Catherine of Serbia are among the first to arrive at Princess Irene of Greek's funeral taking place at the  Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens.

The six-year-old was seen feeding a rhino during a family visit to The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert, California. He was adorable and and showed off his red hair in a set of Instagram Stories that also featured a video of Harry and Meghan dancing in the garden.

Over in Athens, it is a difficult day for the Greek and Spanish royals as Princess Irene, Queen Sofia of Spain's sister, is laid to rest. 

The King will host a reception to mark the Scotland Investment Forum, celebrating Scotland’s entrepreneurial spirit and strong innovation ecosystem at Palace of Holyroodhouse.

Duchess Sophie as Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Corps of Army Music, will visit the Royal Marine School of Music at Alford Schools of Military Music, based at HMS Nelson and she will visit HMS Daring in her role as sponsor at His Majesty's Naval Base Portsmouth, Hampshire.
