Countess Karen Spencer has shared the first update after moving into her brand-new £3.6 million home.
Taking to her Instagram account, the ex-wife of Earl Spencer shared a beautiful pink sky sunset from her sprawling new abode just 10 miles from Althorp.
The image showed the lush, verdant grounds at her incredible property punctuated by a pair of wrought-iron gates.
Captioning the post, the Countess, 54, revealed the image was sent to her by her friend who is staying at the brand-new property while she is away travelling, and that the updates are bringing her incredible amounts of joy.
The Countess penned: "I've been doing a lot of travelling in the last month and have spent a lot of time in busy cities. Not my happy place! During this time, a girlfriend of mine who is staying with me for a few months has been sending me pics from home.
"This is one she sent of a beautiful sunset. Every time she sent an image, it lowered my heart rate and made my shoulders relax a little. So I now understand a bit better so many of the lovely comments I have received over the years about how much my sharing pics of this gorgeous little corner of the Northamptonshire countryside brings joy. How wonderful that beautiful scenes of nature are soothing, even if only experienced second-hand through."
Countess Karen's new property
Canadian-born entrepreneur Karen, who moved to the UK in 2011, previously revealed she had been living in a rental property after moving out of Althorp, the Spencer family home.
Her new six-bedroom property boasts a heated swimming pool, a tennis court, a gym, and outdoor dining areas.
Karen and Charles confirmed they were separating in April 2024, with the Countess leaving Althorp in January 2025.
In November 2024, Karen opened up about starting fresh in a new rental, admitting the search was a "challenging" experience, especially when it came to finding a pet-friendly home.
By August 2025, her luck had turned: she officially bought a house in Northamptonshire, moved in two months later, and celebrated a "magical" first Christmas there. Surrounded by nature and a welcoming community, she shared that the new space brought her total peace.
