Hilary Swank's family is growing! The Oscar winner andhusband Philip Schneider revealed on October 14, 2026 that they are expecting baby number three, three years after welcoming twins Aya and Ohm.

Hilary and Philip were set up on a blind date
In 2016, Hilary, now 52, was set up on a blind date by her friend Misha Collins' then-wife Victoria, who knew Philip via Misha. Hilary and Philip met at 10am for brunch – and their first date lasted 13 hours!
Their friendship with Misha has continued, and the Supernatural actor had a special role in their 2018 wedding, reading a poem midway through the ceremony.

The pair both love nature and the outdoors, and during a visit to Alaska, Philip dropped to one knee.
"We stumbled upon a beautiful sanctuary deep in the mountains. It had a stunning waterfall that cascades down to rustic cabins built in the 1800s surrounded by beautiful pines and big skies. One evening, Philip dropped to his knee in front of the waterfall and proposed—he sweetly made sure my dogs were nearby so they could bear witness!" she told Vogue.

Hilary says Philip is the 'man of my dreams'
Hilary and Philip got married at the Santa Lucia Preserve in Carmel, California in August 2018 after a two-year engagement.
"I'm on cloud nine," the actress told HELLO! in an exclusive interview at the time. "I'm enjoying the afterglow of a moment with all my loved ones around me. A lot of the time our fantasies are often better than how things actually turn out. But I have to say this exceeded all my expectations."

A year later, Hilary called her twins a "blessing," acknowledging how it can be difficult to conceive in your 40s and 50s.
"I think for me, I feel blessed to be able to have babies, you know, this late in life, but it’s also a blessing because I had so much time to focus on my career, which was another baby of mine,” she told Parade. “And now I can really give focus to them, in a way, and I am in the blessed position of being able to work when I want to work.
A new project "releases in December"
On October 14, 2026, Hilary took to social media to share the news that she was pregnant with her third child.
"A lot of people have been asking what project I’m doing next, this one releases in December," she quipped in the caption.
