Elton John admitted to hospital with flu and E.coli
Sir Elton John has cancelled a series of concerts after being taken to hospital suffering from E.Coli and an aggressive bout of influenza.
The 62-year-old had already shelved dates in Dublin, London, Liverpool, Newcastle and Sheffield - citing ill health.
And further gigs in US cities of Seatle, Washington and Portland and Oregon were also ditched after the singer was admitted to hospital in central London.
"He doesn't like letting his fans down, but he had to this time," said the star's spokesman.
