Jodie Foster celebrated in lifetime achievement award

Jodie Foster will be in receipt of yet another trophy as she is to receive this year's Golden Globes' Lifetime Achievement award.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association have announced that Jodie will receive the Cecil B DeMille award at the next Golden Globes ceremony on January 13, 2013.

The 49-year-old actress is a two-time Golden Globe and Academy Award winner, and has been honoured for her portrayals in The Accused and Silence Of The Lambs.

Joining a revered line of thespians, Jodie will join the ranks of Robert De Niro, Steven Spielberg and Barbra Streisand, as well as last year's winner Morgan Freeman.
