Cheryl Cole offers support to Wayne Bridge

Cheryl Cole has offered her support to Wayne Bridge - the former partner of John Terry's alleged mistress.

No stranger to the upset of affair rumours, Cheryl - who overcame a marriage crisis with husband Ashley - has been in touch with Wayne to empathise with him.

According to the Daily Mail, Cheryl is understood to have told him how "sad" she felt and if there was "anything she could do" to help him or his young son Jaydon she was "there for him".

Wayne is reported as saying her support means "a great deal" to him.

Cheryl and Ashley were friendly with Wayne and ex-girlfriend Vanessa - a French lingerie model - and holidayed with them in the south of France last year.
