Gordon Brown: "I prefer 'X Factor' over 'Strictly'
Some reality TV talent show fans find themselves torn on a Saturday night on whether to watch X Factor or Strictly Come Dancing. Not Gordon Brown.
The prime minister pledged his allegiance to the ITV show in a recent interview.
"[Simon] Cowell accused me of wavering in my support for The X Factor, but I haven't. I'm an X Factor fan, and Peter Mandelson looks after Strictly Come Dancing," said the British leader.
The statesman also told men's magazine GQ "I could present our message a lot better," adding: "I'm actually shy by nature rather than extrovert."
