Leona Lewis looked to have put an attack at a London booksigning well behind her as she performed her first ever solo concert at Hackney Empire on Monday.
It was an extra special gig for the X Factor winner, who performed on the same stage 11 years ago.
"The first time I ever performed here I was 13 so it seemed fitting for me to come back here," said the 24-year-old, who was born and raised in Hackney.
"I just want to say thank you so much for coming to support me," added the star, who was dressed in a Lady Gaga-esque foil dress and a patent waist belt.
Finishing off the concert with a spinetingling version of Snow Patrol's Run, Leona - whose new album Echo is out on November 16 - received a standing ovation.
