Eva Longoria transforms into 1920's siren for new film

Friday May 4, 2012

Eva Longoria leaves her Prada heels, vuluminous hair and mini dresses in Wisteria Lane as she transforms into a 1920's housewife for a new film.

Eva goes back to her Mexican roots as she plays Tulita the devoted wife of General Enrique Gorostieta – played by Andy Garcia – the main star of For Greater Glory.

The drama is set around the Cristeros War (1926-1929), which was centred around a rebellion against the Mexican government's attempt to secularize the country.

This will be one of the first of many new ventures for the glamorous star since the end of hit US seriesDesperate Housewives.

Eva and her co-stars have been sharing their sadness on Twitter recently, on their last day of filming.

She tweeted: "Today is the day, the end has finally arrived... I will be crying all day!"
