Princess Charlene, in keeping with her trademark style, chose a simple and understated look on the day she stepped into Monaco’s royal circle.
She wore a low, deconstructed chignon and subtle make-up to match her beautiful Armani gown.
And her unassuming look allowed her natural beauty to take centre stage.
The bride opted for a simple veil, forgoing a tiara.
Instead she sported a silver, floral encrusted brooch in her hair, lent to her by Princess Caroline.
Hellomagazine.com has asked professional make-up artist and creative director David Manilo to give us the lowdown on Charlene’s simple yet sophistcated look.
David said: “Her hairstyle was quite straightforward.
"At the front where she lacked a tiara they’d taken a lock from the front right hand side and swept it across her forehead.”
“Meanwhile, the back of the hairstyle was a low bun wound with loose curls, crowned with a glittering hairpiece in the form of a bouquet of flowers which attached at the nape."
