Jessie Wallace: "I've lost so much weight, I need a fat suit"
After losing two stone in a recent effort to slim down, former EastEnder Jessie Wallace now has to wear a fat suit for her new theatre role.
Originally cast to play a curvy, weight-obsessed character called Sylvia, the 37-year-old no longer looks the part.
Fortunately, producers have rectified the problem with the help of a padded suit, which the actress is due to wear when the musical, Stepping Out, opens on Tuesday.
"They realised I'd obviously lost quite a bit, so now I'm going to have to wear a padded suit. I'll be getting false boobs and a blonde curly wig too so it'll be funny," Jessie says.
'It's such an amazing feeling to get fit finally," adds the actress who is now eight stone, and has dropped from a size 16 to size 10.
