Last year we had the all-singing and dancing talents of handsome Hugh Jackman hosting the Academy Awards.
Expect something a little different this year with the news it will be fronted by a comedy double act.
Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin have been confirmed as the comperes of the highly-anticipated ceremony.
"I am happy to co-host the Oscars with my enemy Alec Baldwin," quipped the Pink Panther actor, who has hosted the event twice in the past.
"I don't play the banjo but I am thrilled to be hosting the Oscars – it’s the opportunity of a lifetime," said the 30 Rock star, making reference to Steve's musical sideline.
Describing the duo and "the perfect pair of hosts", the producers added: "Steve will bring the experience of having hosted the show in the past and Alex will be a completely fresh personality for this event."
Viewers can judge for themselves when the 82nd Academy Awards are broadcast on Sunday March 7.
