It's been revealed that X Factor evictee Misha B has a new celebrity supporter.

The pop hopeful tweeted Missy Elliot after fans told her the American rap star followed her.

Misha tweeted: "I love you Missy!!! You inspire me beyond words.

"Thanks 4 being the inspiration of my generation & many to come XxX"

Much to the 19-year-old's suprise she got a reply from her heroine, congratulating her on her success.
 
"U R talented:)" said the hip hop diva.

Missy was apparently lined up to perform with Misha in the final show. 

She didn't make it through – but that didn't stop her suggesting the two ladies hook up for a duet.

She tweeted: "WOW!!! Words can't describe how much it means to have ur support! Got me thinkin... imagine Missy E & Misha B *MUSICALMADNESS*"

The star replied: "Hahaha! Yup a hit! As u would say *MUSICALMADNESS* looking 4ward 2 meeting ya:)"
