Animal Magic and The Really Wild Show presenter Terry Nutkins has died of leukaemia at the age of 66.
Undeterred by an otter accident that led to the loss of the top parts of two of his fingers, Terry possessed a great enthusiasm for animals that let him to present wildlife shows for more than a decade.
The father of eight was being treated for his condition when he suddenly died on Thursday.
Described as ebullient and a natural with animals, Terry was also known for his idiosyncratic haircut and preservation work on the surrounding areas of Loch Ness.
