Pussy Riot member Yekaterina Samutsevich has had her two-year jail term suspended.
The three jailed members of the band had spoken out at their appeal about their action being political rather than anti-religious.
However, the remaining two jailed members, Maria Alyokhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova have had their two-year sentence upheld.
Other band members cheered and hugged one another upon the announcement of Yekaterina's release, but insist that their anti-Kremlin protest did not defy any legal bondaries.
Maria said: "We're all innocent... the verdict should be overturned. The Russian justice system looks discredited".
