Computer-savvy J-Lo finds novel way to stay in touch with twins

Computer-savvy J-Lo finds novel way to stay in touch with twins

After taking time off to care for her 18-month-old twins, first-time mum Jennifer Lopez has said she found it difficult to return to work because she missed her young children so much.

So she came up with a way to stay connected to her son Max and daughter Emme  – thanks to the wonders of modern technology.

"I call up on the web camera so I can see them while I am away and just look at them," says the 40-year-old actress, who has recently wrapped up filming on her movie, The Backup Plan, and is now busy recording a new album.

And while her little boy seems fascinated by the sight of his mum on a computer screen, the experience is a little unnerving for Emme.

"It is so sweet – my son just stares at the camera and looks. And then my daughter just starts crying when she sees me on the screen," Jen - pictured with husband Marc Anthony - recently revealed.

"She holds out her arms to me and gets very upset. It breaks my heart if I am away from them even for a short time."
