First look at new Broadway star Daniel Craig's moustache

He's no stranger to growing facial hair in the name of a role, having sported a beard for fantasy film The Golden Compass.

And normally clean-shaven Daniel Craig has done it again for his Broadway stint in A Steady Rain, in which he's currently starring with Hugh Jackman.

It remains to be seen what the 007 heart-throb's legions of female fans will make of his new moustache.

The 41-year-old has grown it for his portrayal of a Chicago cop.

In the work his character's friendship with his working partner – played by Hugh – is put to the test when they both become involved in a domestic dispute in a disadvantaged area of the city.
