A former flight attendant on Oprah Winfrey's private jet is suing the US sofa queen, claiming she was fired after being falsely accused of "inappropriate intimate behaviour" with a pilot on a flight.
Corrine Gehrls, 39, is suing for more than $75,000 and claims that a second flight attendant, who happens to be Oprah's goddaughter, made up the story.
Miss Gehrls and pilot Terry Pansing were relieved of their duties shortly after the flight in June.
A lawsuit filed in California says the couple both passed a lie detector test when asked about the alleged intimacy, which was claimed to have taken place while the jet was on the ground for refuelling.
