Heather Mills injures shoulder in ski accident
Heather Mills has left hospital after suffering a serious shoulder injury in a skiing accident in southern Austria.
The 43-year-old smashed through a fence during downhill training on the Moelltaler glacier on Wednesday.
She was airlifted to hospital in Lienz where she was treated for a fractured right shoulder blade.
The ex-wife of Sir Paul McCartney is bidding to represent Great Britain in the 2014 Winter Paralympic Games.
Her spokesman said she had X-rays and a Cat scan, but was released from hospital on Thursday and hopes to return to the slopes within two months.
