Adele nominated for Bond theme Golden Globe

Adele has broken yet another record and become the first artist to receive a Golden Globe nomination for a James Bond film.

Skyfall, the song for the film of the same name, has been nominated for the Best Original Song for the awards, pitting the artist against Jon Bon Jovi, Taylor Swift and Claude Michel Schonberg in the category.

Although the singer may have won six Grammys, scored two Mercury Music Prize nominations and two Ivor Novello awards, this is her first Golden Globe nomination to date.
