Only a few days have passed since they announced their split. But rumours are already rife as to why Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel went their separate ways after five years together.

A source close to Justin has spoken out to deny speculation that Mila Kunis - the 30-year-old's co-star in his latest film Friends With Benefits - was the cause of the break-up.

The source said: "Mila had nothing to do with the break-up. In fact no one came between them. They decided their relationship ran its course and it was time to move on."

Speaking of Justin's friendship with 28-year-old Mila, the source added: "They're not in a relationship.

"They star in a movie called Friends With Benefits but they're just friends. That's it. They are not together."
