Mitch Winehouse, father of the late singer, Amy, is planning to write a memoir called, Amy, My Daughter.
It has been described by publishers Harper Collins as "heartfelt and revelatory.", and will be released next year.
All proceeds from the publication will go to The Amy Winehouse Foundation, which aims to help save youngsters from the devastating effects of drugs and alcohol, which plagued Amy during her short life.
Since her death, Mitch has been working tirelessly to help improve the lives of young addicts and recently met with Health Secretary, Andrew Lansley (pictured), to gain momentum for his cause.
Explaining his motives, he said: "we are trying to help young people who are sick and also their families"
"We are trying to raise awareness so young addicts can get treatment earlier."
Speaking in The Sun, the bereaved father said: "I speak to Amy every day. We have our little chats"
"I know she is 100 per cent behind us"
