Tucking into a blue cupcake, decorated with the Union Flag, the Duchess of Cornwall declared it: "Yummy".
She was presented with the sweet treats baked by twins Amie and Natalie Scott, nine, from St Peter's Primary School in London.
Their visit was to promote the Big Jubilee lunch aimed at bringing communities together to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Queen's reign.
Camilla has agreed to be the patron of the venture.
She was told her young friends were missing a spelling test to take tea with her at Clarence House.
The pupils, who had their faces painted in patriotic colours, didn't look too disappointed.
