Housewives actress Kathryn Joosten facing cancer battle again
Kathryn Joosten, who plays cranky neighbour Karen McCluskey on popular US series Desperate Housewives, is battling a recurrence of lung cancer.
Doctors detected a spot on the the 69-year-old's left lung during a recent check-up.
Kathryn, who gave up smoking after 40 years, first battled the disease in 2001 and was given the all-clear after having surgery.
It is thought that Desperate Housewives producers are planning to write around the actress' treatment.
