Former tabloid editor Piers Morgan has come a long way since his newspaper days.
For the debut of his new US show, the ex Britain's Got Talent judge conducted an emotional hour-long interview with chat show queen Oprah Winfrey.
Despite her pledge not to cry, the 56-year-old became visibly upset when she was asked about Martin Luther King.
"I hold him in reverence. And I know that I would not be here... this life... the dream that I live in, would not be possible if he hadn't had been who he was," she said.
The former journalist has replaced veteran broadcaster Larry King on the CNN prime-time slot.
