Barack Obama decided to take matters in hand when a persistent fly interrupted the taping of a TV interview at the White House. The US president showed impressive hand-eye coordination, swatting the pesky bug with a single slap.
The American President started to respond to a question but became distracted by the insect, telling it: "Get outta here". He then watched in silence as it landed on his hand, before slapping it with the other.
Without missing a beat he then turned to the interviewer and said, "Now, where were we?". As the fly lay on the carpet he pointed to it and suggested the crew film it, to much laughter from the production crew. "I got the sucker," he crowed happily
