Neighbours role up for grabs for British fans

British fans of Neighbours are being given the chance to win a part in the iconic Australian soap that launched the careers of Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan (pictured) - to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

Producers are searching for an aspiring female actress to play Poppy Rogers, a friend of character Mal Kennedy.

Auditions are to be uploaded on YouTube, and the show will air in November.

Producers will pick their favourite five before a public vote to choose the final two, who will be put through their paces in Australia.
