Cheryl Cole drops married name for third album

Thursday April 19, 2012

Cheryl Cole has finally dropped her married name for professional purposes after the end of her union with Ashley Cole.

Her third album, A Million Lights, will be released under her first name alone.

To promote the disc, the former X Factor judge released a shot of herself posing behind a chainmail heart, made up of gold keys.

The first single Call My Name, which was written and produced by Calvin Harris, will be released on June 10.

"Soooo excited for you to hear Call My Name on the radio this Friday," Cheryl tweeted her fans.

The video, which will get its first airing in May, was filmed in downtown LA.

A Million Lights, which follows her previous solo albums 3 Words and Messy Little Raindrops, will be released on June 18.
