After successful homecoming appearances in Scotland with the Britain's Got Talent tour sent fans wild with enthusiasm, Susan Boyle has returned to her temporary London base for some peace and quiet.
The singer from West Lothian, pictured with BGT presenter Stephen Mulhern, missed a performance in Liverpool following reports she was seen crying for her cat Pebbles on a hotel balcony in the city.
Her representative said the talent show sensation's last appearance before a sold-out crowd in Edinburgh went "really well", but insisted she would need "sporadic" rest days during the tour.
Show bosses said the 48-year-old was taking it “one day at a time” and may sing in Cardiff on Friday.
Susan has been staying in a £2-million converted convent rented for her by Simon Cowell
