Prince William and Kate Middleton are said to be looking at moving into Kensington Palace – the former home of Princess Diana – after they marry.
Royal aides have reportedly confirmed that the West London property – which is divided into apartments for senior Royal staff and some Royal family members - is one of several being considered for the couple's London base.
It was there William and Prince Harry lived for much of their childhood.
The newly-engaged couple will live together in Anglesey for a few years while William completes his RAF training, but will also need a place to stay when they are in the British capital.
They currently share a floor of Clarence House with Prince Harry, but are said to want their own space.
A spokesman for Prince William said: "The Prince has not made any decisions on this."
