Samantha Cameron has put her artistic talent on display by creating a sketch of the family's new cat Larry to be auctioned for charity.

The Prime Minister's wife - who studied Fine Art at Bristol University - is one of a number of celebrities, including Angelina Jolie and Jude Law, to put pen to paper for the Winnicott Trust.

The charity supports babies and their families at the neo-natal units of two London hospitals.

The illustration shows Larry peeking out the door of No 10 as a large rodent scurries past.

Larry was introduced to the family after a rat was caught by TV cameras outside their home in January.

The picture will join others auctioned off at a ball at the Dorchester hotel in London on Thursday.
