The royal wedding has thrown a spanner in the works for X Factor bosses.
This week it emerged that the London auditions were due to take place for three days over April – including the 29th.
Thousands of people were expected to arrive at the O2 Arena to try out for the show.
This is just five miles from Westminster Abbey where Prince William will marry Kate Middleton.
And the knock-on effects are considerable.
Airspace will be shut down on the day, preventing the show's helicopter flying.
In an anti-terror move, none of the staff walkie-talkies will be able to function.
So it is back to the drawing board for the producers, just as Simon Cowell makes his final selection for the show's judges.
"They've a massive headache," a security source told The Sun.
