Late poet Sylvia Plath's son takes his own life
Nicholas Hughes, 47, (pictured with Sylvia in 1962) has taken his own life at his home in Alaska where he worked as a professor. Also the son of former Poet Laureate Ted Hughes, Nicholas' mother Sylvia committed suicide in 1963 at the age of 31
