Michael's children remember King of Pop

Friday January 27, 2012

Michael Jackson has been honoured by his family with a hand and footprint ceremony in Los Angeles.

The king of pop's three children Prince, 14, Paris, 13 and nine-year-old Blanket paid tribute to their father by imprinting his hand and footmarks into cement outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre.

They used his famous sequin glove and his dancing shoes, along with their own handprints.

Michael's mum Katherine and brothers Tito and Jackie also attended the ceremony, along with guests including Justin Bieber, Smokey Robinson and Quincy Jones.

Paris introduced Justin, admitting that she was a big fan.

The Baby singer paid tribute to his hero, saying: "He was more than entertainer - he was an inspiration in the way he was kind, he was gentle and very charitable.

"That's why I look up to him... Everything that I do I look at Michael and think I want to be as good as he was."

Justin then sang an a cappella version of the Jackson Five singer's hit Rockin' Robin.
