Stephen Gately leaves £1m to lover Andy Cowles

Following his tragic death in October last year, the fortune of Stephen Gately has been divided.

The Boyzone star has left £1.5million to be split between his civil partner Andy Cowles, and his parents.

The remainder of the singer's estimated £3.3milion fortune is said to have been used to pay off his debts, reports The Sun newspaper.

Stephen, 33, died in Majorca as a result of a congenital heart defect.
