It might have been a rock concert, but the guest list read more like a awards ceremony as the likes of Paris Hilton, David Beckham and Cindy Crawford took their seats in LA.
But then this wasn't any old music gig, it was superstar band U2's penultimate show on their 360 Degrees world tour.
And it was also the first concert to be broadcast worldwide on the internet for free.
Around two and a half million fans in 16 countries watched Bono and his band perform to a sell out 96,000-strong crowd at the Pasadena Rose Bowl.
Other celeb guests included Colin Farrell, Barbra Streisand, Ewan McGregor, Demi Moore, Pierce Brosnan and Ben Stiller.
