Prince Albert kicks off memorial boat blaze

Following a tradition started by Prince Louis II of Monaco in 1924, the current principality's ruler sets fire to a fishing boat in memory of Antinope - a Florentine captain whose ship was burnt on the beach at Monte Carlo in 1077 after he was caught stealing
