Paul Merton standing in for Adrian on The One Show
Paul Merton, a regular panellist on Have I Got News For You, is due to replace Adrian Chiles on The One Show, it has been announced.
Paul will front an episode of the show next week, following the shock departure of Adrian.
Also stepping in, until a permanent replacement has been found, is Watchdog host Matthew Allwright, who will host the majority of editions in the next fortnight.
