Goddess Angelina praises 'wonderful father' Brad

On Monday, Angelina Jolie was in 'supermum' mode as she quickly calmed a spat between sons Maddox and Pax as they touched down at Tokyo's Narita International Airport.

The following day she had transformed into a Hollywood goddess to hit the red carpet in a sweeping black Versace chiffon dress for the Japanese premiere of her new movie Salt.

Slashed seductively to the hip, Angelina showed off her toned legs, a result of intensive martial arts training in preparation for fight scenes in the action thriller.

She teamed the backless creation with a pair of black peep-toe heels and a stylish updo.

Hundreds of screaming fans gathered at the event struggled to contain themselves as she signed autographs.

The premiere followed a press conference where she happily talked about long-term partner Brad Pitt.

She praised his parenting skills, saying: "He was just a wonderful father. He often brought the children to the set."

When asked how she balances work and family life, she replied: "Brad is the word that makes it possible."
